Monochord presents Contradictions EP: Four tracks combine the rhythm patterns of house music with sounds of 80's electro in a minimal and playful production.
The first track Contradiction starts in breathtaking manner, building up tension up to a mid song breakdown. The track takes a major turn introducing playful elements of be-bop. No Question No Answer is characterised by a deep metallic riff over a straightforward beat. The groovy bassline in Patterns Differences is contributing to the laissez-faire attitude of this track. Sinuous Pattern One is the most minimal production of the EP: A playful and highly rhythmic track.
