Reporter's "Diffusion in Square" EP features a selection of his recent work: Four songs ranging from minimal techno to glitch and lightly-dark electro.
The title song opens with a straight four on the floor beat, shortly funky guitars kick in, and merge into a tune with loads of drive, one for the dancefloor. "A Lot to Forget" is then slightly more chilled, features a beautiful organ on top of a solid minimal techno beat. "Combat Trousers" takes it all not too serious and plays with glitchy elements, rolling. Last but not least some real electro, dark vibrations open the song, but hello?!, is this a Jean Michel Jarre remix (sic)? The Reporter denies, we enjoy it either way.
